The new Epson SC-F1000 offers an entry-level DTF/DTG (direct-to-garment/direct-to-film) hybrid printer that can print directly onto both dark and light fabrics, says Xpres

With the flexibility to print onto a range of fabrics, including cotton, nylon, leather, polyester, denim and 50/50 blends, the SC-F1000 is ideal for providing in-store services, such as personalised garment printing in real-time.

“A large opening lid simplifies the process of setting the garment or film onto the platen, and sensors detect uneven settings to avoid printing errors,” explains the supplier.

“Image quality is also enhanced by the use of Epson’s UltraChrome DG2 inks, which reduce bleed from yellow and black, while a vivid colour profile emphasises richness in graphic designs. ”

For production-level operations, the Epson SureColor SC-F3000 DTG printer delivers up to 60 full-platen dark T-shirt prints per hour, partly due to its nine-litre capacity bulk ink system alongside 1.5 litre ink pouches, adds Xpres.

Alongside a new high-capacity bulk ink system and stand, the SC-F3000 features Epson production head technology and auto platen
gap adjustment. It also comes with a choice of CoverPlus service plans, which include cover for user-replaceable heads.
