Green by Uneek Uneek’s all new sustainable range, Green by Uneek, launched in November 2023 and has proved to be an exceptionally well-
received and highly anticipated range.
“Skilfully merging functional styling, high quality and keen pricing”, Uneek’s “sumptuous” green range boasts a line-up of four core styles. The Polo Shirt (GR11), T Shirt (GR31), Sweatshirt (GR21) and Hoodie (GR51) are made from a combination of recycled polyester, organic cotton and recycled cotton in six colours (with seven for the T-shirt) and a wide range of sizes, the Green by Uneek styles offer “exceptional value” for money. Aimed mainly at the workwear market, all four styles are additionally well represented for the leisurewear market.
“As a brand, we have always been renowned for being disruptive in the industry and offering our customers an unrivalled combination of consistently high-quality and competitively priced garments,” says Uneek.
“We are delighted to see recent changes in our industry where there has been a seismic shift in customer demand and perception when it comes to sustainable clothing for both workwear and leisurewear. We decided to address these changes by prioritising the launch of a core sustainable workwear range that embodies the tenets of a high-quality product, but without the daunting price tag. We believe that for sustainability to be viable, it should not come at an excessive financial outlay, for both the manufacturer as well as the customer. With workwear being our core customer segment, we chose to address this segment first.”
“The new healthcare tunics are available in 11 popular healthcare colours and are made from a 195gsm high-quality polycotton woven fabric, a preferable fabric weight for all-year use, and industrially launderable too. Healthcare is a segment we are looking to leverage this year and we’ll be looking into a range of stretch healthcare styles later in the year.”
Cuffed Beanie and Hi Viz styles “This year, we’re launching a formidable line-up of new products. First up is the Cuffed Beanie (UC410), which launches this month and is available in five core workwear colours.
“Then, in early to mid-summer 2024, we will be launching the Hi Viz Short Sleeve Polo Shirt (UC808) in yellow and orange, as well as the High Viz Short Sleeve T Shirt (UC810) in the same colours. Both of these products will be offered in recycled birdseye polyester fabric, with excellent wicking properties to keep you comfortable and cool outdoors,” reveals Uneek.
Bib Apron “For the hospitality segment, we will be launching the Bib Apron (UC940) in a sustainable fabric composition of recycled polyester and organic cotton. Initially, we will launch this style in five popular colours, and will be looking to add more colours based on the response and feedback we get from our customers.”
The brand concludes: ‘For 2024, at Uneek it is all about launching a great line-up of frequently asked for and widely anticipated new products for our customers, as well as refining and making further enhancements all across our existing ranges and within our overall company set-up, be that our factories, our systems or our team.
“For us, it’s all about being a happy company year on year, keeping our customers happy and being a good listener.”
