Trotec is joining the line-up at the Print & Stitch garment decoration roadshows in 2023 to demonstrate the value of laser engraving.
It will bring high-speed laser engraving to the industry events, showing how it can add value to garment and textile businesses and provide a way to diversify into new areas.
Visitors will see Trotec’s Speedy 100 laser engraver in action, processing a wide range of materials including acrylic, wood and plastic laminates alongside Trotec’s synthetic leather. They can meet Trotec experts to answer questions and learn about laser engravers, laser software and engraving materials.
The Print & Stitch roadshows run through the year across the UK, starting at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Strathclyde hotel on 20 April and then at the Delta by Marriott Newcastle Gateshead hotel in Newcastle upon Tyne on 23 May and the Holiday Inn Barnsley in South Yorkshire on 25 May.
It will then travel to locations including Newport in south Wales, Croydon in south London, Leicester, Norwich, Haydock Park in Newton-le-Willows in Merseyside, Southampton, Watford in Hertfordshire, Bristol and Plymouth.

Trotec’s flagship range of flatbed laser engravers is the Speedy series, with bed sizes from 610 x 305 mm up to 1016 x 610 mm and CO2 laser power up to 120 watts. The Speedy 400 system is the fastest laser engraver on the market, offering processing speeds of 4.3 metres per second and 5g acceleration. Its machines can also be used for cutting textiles such as cotton, felt, silk, linen, lace, polyester and fleece.
