TheMagicTouch (TMT) launched its new T.Foil Dark transfer process in January. The new system involves printing the design with a ‘composite’ black onto the T.Foil Dark transfer paper using an Oki enhanced CMYK or CMY plus white toner-based printer powered with the SpaceControl print driver. The printed transfer is then applied to the garment and heat pressed for 30 seconds, then, from a choice of 18 different foil colours, the design is covered and heat pressed again for what TMT says is “a durable decoration involving no cutting or weeding”. It added: “The bottom line is, the user is able to produce transfers (transfer and foil) for less than £1 up to A4 and £2 for A3, quickly and profitably.” In addition, new colours have been added to the 123Flex range, and there are six new neon shades in the Pearl Glitter line.
