Russell has eight adult fleeces and two children’s fleeces that offer warmth along with a great surface for decoration. The 870M/F/B Full Zip Outdoor Fleece, (for men, women and children respectively), the quarter-zip 874M/B, and the 872M/F Outdoor Fleece Gilet are all made from 320 gsm fleece fabric.
The brand’s Microfleece range is made from 190 gsm, 100% polyester anti-pill fleece and comprises the 880M Men’s Fitted Full Zip Microfleece, 883F Ladies’ Fitted Full Zip Microfleece and 881M Men’s Quarter Zip Microfleece.
Perfect for use in the transport sector, schools, sports and corporate events, Russell’s three-layer 140 SoftShell Jacket and 141 SoftShell Gilet feature an outer layer in smooth, woven softshell fabric that is great for decoration. For colder days there is the Teflon-coated 040 Smart SoftShell Jacket and 041 Smart SoftShell Gilet, and for full weather protection the brand offers the lightweight 500 Hydra-Shell 2000, contemporary 510 Hydraplus 2000 Jacket, and 520 Sport Shell 5000 jacket, which is engineered for high activity.

“The Orn Clothing softshell range offers a high quality garment for all seasons,” says the brand. The range includes the Tern, which is available in both men’s and women’s styles. It is offered in sizes XS-10XL for men and 8-24 for women – “probably the widest range in the industry,” according to Orn. “It has a very smart corporate appearance and is one of the company’s top requested bespoke products,” adds the brand.
Orn also offers the sporty, two-tone Silverstone Softshell Jacket with contrast colour side panels and piping, which comes in sizes XS-5XL.
Both the Tern and the Silverstone are made from 320 gsm 92% polyester/8% elastane three-layer fabric, which offers water resistance and breathability. The jackets feature YKK zips, three external pockets, internal mobile phone pocket, and elasticated hem with side adjuster.

Cool newcomers for autumn
James & Nicholson’s JN 1104 Men’s Winter Sport Jacket is made from a windproof and water-repellent rip-stop fabric with TPU coating. It has a warm teddy lining; adjustable hood; zipped side pockets and inner pocket; contrasting border on hood, hem and sleeves; reflective piping on sleeve; and a zip for decoration at the back.
Also for men is the JN 1100 Men’s Winter Jacket, a padded winter jacket made from a wind-proof and water-repellent fabric and featuring wool felt trimming, while for women there is the JN 1065 Ladies’ Padded Jacket with stylish backstitching. This style is also made from windproof and water-repellent fabric, and has a stand-up collar with a soft fleece on the inside, zipped inner pocket and mobile phone pocket, and a zip for decoration at the back.

SOL’S offers a wide range of softshell jackets such as the SOL’S Relax (46600) zipped jacket, which uses a technical fabric that the brand says offers “one of the highest levels of waterproofing and breathability on the market”. It has a 96% polyester/4% elastane outer, a membrane, and a polyester fleece backing. It comes in six colours, and there is also a women’s version – the Roxy (46800). The Kids Replay (46603) is a children’s hooded softshell made of the same fabric.
The Skate (01171) is a waterproof, windproof, unisex, mesh-lined windbreaker that comes in five contrast colours, including one in camo print and others with neon details (XS-2XL).
This year SOL’S launched a range of light padded jackets that come in four colours and include the Ride (01193) and Ladies Ride (01170). The brand also has fleeces, such as the North for men (55000) – a pill-resistant fleece made from 100% polyester and available in 12 shades. The women’s version, the Ladies North (54500), comes in nine colours, and the Kids North (10589) is also available.
