The Coloreel colouring system has been integrated into embroidery design software for the first time with a new update from Tajima.

Embroidery design software DG16 from Tajima Software Solutions now makes it easy to assign any Coloreel colour and effect directly in the design creation workflow.

Users no longer need to use a separate programme to colorise their embroidery designs for Coloreel. This means that everything can be done within one software programme, allowing for faster design creation and easier modification of existing designs.

Other benefits include a reduced risk of mixing up stitching and colouring files. With all stitch and colour data now contained in one file, it is also more convenient to create multi-thread embroideries by combining Coloreel thread and traditional pre-coloured embroidery threads.

Coloreel technology works with existing embroidery machines to provide on-demand colouring of thread. The integrated Coloreel option is now available for all Tajima DG16 users.

Mattias Nordin, senior vice president for product management and business development at Coloreel, said: “The Coloreel option provides a more efficient and convenient way for customers to create high-quality embroidered designs. We believe that this integrated solution will further enhance the creativity and productivity of our customers.”

Claude Vlandis, senior vice president for business development at Tajima Software Solutions, added: “We are proud to work with Coloreel to introduce this integrated solution to our customers. We believe that it will help our customers create more innovative and high-quality designs.”

Coloreel technology is distributed in the UK through AJS Embroidery Services, Amaya Sales UK and Stocks.
