Regatta Professional’s new workwear brand Tactical Threads is now the official sponsor of Warrington Wolves Rugby League Club, with club captain Chris Hill being named brand ambassador.

“This is the first partnership for Regatta Professional and it just made perfect sense to team up with Warrington Wolves,” said Megan Pacey, Regatta Professional’s assistant marketing manager. “The whole ethos of rugby revolves around perseverance and tactical thinking. Rugby teams as successful as Warrington Wolves have to have a game plan. This is true for Tactical Threads: our clothes have to be designed to the highest standard, with the best fabrics and with real style. We also love the all inclusive family atmosphere that the goes along with it and the passion and dedication of the fans. This is exactly the kind of audience that we want to interact with. The team is also local to our head office, keeping Regatta Professional as close to its roots as possible.” Many of the Regatta team members are also fans of the team, she added.

The company will work with Chris to promote the new styles that it’s developing for the range – and as Chris runs his own plumbing business, Premier Plumbing, his insider knowledge will be invaluable. “He is the perfect person to showcase our pieces as well as provide us with honest feedback and knowledgeable reviews,” said Megan.

Chris added: “It’s great that we have partnered with such a big company, Regatta Professional, to launch its exciting new brand Tactical Threads. Both Tactical Threads and Warrington are working hard to be the best and I am excited and proud to be a part of them both.”

The newly launched Tactical Threads range has been nominated for Workwear Brand of the Year at the On The Tools awards, along with Dickies, Scruffs and Snickers Workwear.
