Finden & Hales: Introducing the sports chino
Finden & Hales has introduced the Men’s Sports Chino (LV805) to its teamwear collection, a style that the brand says is new to the market and not your average track pant. “At Finden & Hales we understand that not all our customers want to team polos with track pants, but want to look smart with a slight sporty edge,” says the brand. “The sports chino style trouser allows for a smarter look, but is just as comfortable and sporty as a track pant.”
It is made from a 100% polyester, microfibre sports fabric and is available in black and navy, allowing it to be fully coordinated with the Finden & Hales range.
Prestige Leisure: Chinos for work and play
Prestige Leisure says that Front Row’s Men’s Stretch Chino Trousers (FR621), new for 2016, are perfect for work or play. This flat front chino trouser is tag-free, has a stretch fabric for ease of movement, slanted front pockets, two back welt pockets, belt loops and a plain hem. It is made from a 220 gsm, 97% cotton/3% elastane, stretch twill and available in five colours and sizes 28”-40”. There is also a women’s style, FR622.
Prestige also recommends Asquith & Fox’s Men’s Classic Fit Cotton Chino (AQ050), a 275 gsm, 100% cotton twill, regular fit chino with a soft finish. It features two back jet pockets with button fastening, a zip fly, button fastening at waist and belt loops, and is available in 14 colours.
Snickers: Cool work trousers for the summer months
According to Snickers, its new LiteWork Trousers are revolutionising workwear styles. The innovative fabric uses 37.5 technology to keep wearers cool throughout the summer. “Snickers’ Next Generation of Work Trousers and garments have quickly become known for their contemporary designs packed with must-have features that focus on fit, comfort and freedom of movement as well as using innovative fabrics that deliver long lasting protection,” says the brand. The LiteWork Trousers have all the features and functionality of the other Next Generation working clothes, but without the heavier weight fabrics. They are super-light, quick-drying garments made from durable rip-stop fabric.
Russell: Contemporary work trousers
Russell has two styles that it says can take on the most physically demanding work environments: the PolyCotton Twill Trouser and the Heavy Duty Trouser (pictured).
They both feature a contemporary cut with great fit and versatile, practical styling details, such as cargo pockets and mobile phone pouch. The Heavy Duty option also has internal pockets for kneepads, DuPont Teflon water-repellent fabric protector, triple stitching on the inner leg seam and pocket openings, as well as a reinforced seat area.
Both come in four workwear colours – black, bottle green, French navy and convoy grey – and in three leg lengths and waist size 28”-48”.
Front Row & Co: A modern classic
Front Row & Co’s range of Tag-Free products now includes Stretch Chinos and Chino Shorts. Garment-washed for a soft handle and with an up-to-date fit, the new, lightweight chino styles allow clubs and teams to feel comfortable.
The Men’s Stretch Chinos (FR621) are available in regular and long leg lengths, and in five colours: black, light grey, navy, stone and vintage red. The women’s style (FR622) comes in regular leg length and in black, navy and stone.
The Stretch Chino Shorts (men’s style FR605 and women’s style FR606) are made from the same material and come in a choice of navy and stone.
The women’s chino styles come in sizes XS/8-2XL/18 and the men’s styles in waist sizes 28”-40”.
