Print Media Centr has launched PrintFM – the first 24/7 global internet radio station dedicated to the print and graphic communications sector.
Streaming via printfmradio.com, PrintFM offers a mix of interviews, panel discussions, educational programming and event coverage. The station will also broadcast curated episodes from the Podcasts from The Printerverse archive, plus content from other industry podcasters and newly commissioned shows. It is designed to provide print professionals, marketers, manufacturers, buyers, and designers with news, insights, and sector-specific conversations throughout the day.
“PrintFM is more than just a radio station, it’s the soundtrack of print,” said Deborah Corn, founder and intergalactic ambassador to The Printerverse at Print Media Centr. “We have built a platform that delivers the insight of prominent and new industry voices, the stories of print innovators, and the energy of events directly to anyone, anywhere in the world. Tune in anytime, whether you are at home, at work, or on the go.”
To celebrate the launch, PrintFM will host a special live broadcast on Thursday 14 August from 15:00 to 20:00 BST. Presented by Deborah Corn, the programme will feature guest interviews and live discussions.
From 23–25 September, the station will make its first broadcast from a live UK industry event, at The Print Show, which takes place at the NEC Birmingham. The Print Show event and sales director Chris Davies commented: “We are delighted to support the launch of PrintFM, an incredibly exciting initiative for the print industry. The Print Show and our new sister event, The Sign Show, are very much about supporting innovation in print. PrintFM is one of the stand-out developments of the year, and we look forward to participating in the station’s first live broadcast from an industry event.”
