International Coatings Company has announced the return of its popular Phantom Black 716 ink for screen printing.
The reformulated and improved ink is designed to deliver a creamy, deep-coloured black with superior performance characteristics.
It is fast flashing with low-tack and excellent opacity and provides a deep dark finish. Like all International Coatings inks, it is non-phthalate.
Phantom Black promises “outstanding” easy-to-print performance and excellent penetration into fabrics when printed through fine mesh counts.
Mark Brouillard, International Coatings’ print product manager, said: “The reformulated Phantom Black 716 represents the continuing evolution of our products to meet the needs of our customers.
“Phantom Black responds to marketplace and customer demands for a value-priced, high-pigment performance black ink.”
International Coatings reported that all of the printers who beta-tested the reformulated Phantom Black commented on its great opacity and how easy it was to print on both automatic and manual printers.
Phantom Black 716 will be available through International Coatings’ exclusive network of distributors including Screen Print World in the UK.
