[Updated 23 April 2025] Norty, the parent company of garment brands including AWDis, Pro RTX and Anthem, has announced a strategic merger with Henbury, home to Henbury Brands including Henbury, Finden & Hales and Front Row & Co.
Described as a “transformative union”, it brings together two established leaders in the wholesale and printwear sector, effective from Monday 2 June.
Henbury Brands will be fully integrated under the Norty umbrella, and all trading operations will be consolidated under the Norty name.
In a joint statement, Norty managing director Jawad Jumani and Henbury managing director Katie Stewart said: “We are excited to unite two thriving businesses under a shared vision.
“This merger is a natural evolution driven by our aligned values, complementary product ranges and commitment to delivering long-term value.
“Together, we are stronger, more agile and better equipped to lead the industry into the future.”
They said that, after the merger, Norty would offer a broader and more diverse product portfolio, have greater market reach through an expanded global distribution network, benefit from accelerated innovation through shared development resources, and deliver greater environmental impact through unified sustainability initiatives.
The statement added that Norty and Henbury were collaborating closely to ensure a smooth transition for customers, partners and employees, promising that “stakeholders can expect continuity of service alongside the benefits of an integrated and strengthened business”.
It concluded: “This merger represents a significant milestone for the UK and European apparel markets. By joining forces, Norty Ltd solidifies its position as a market leader, setting the stage for future-focused growth, expanded capabilities and continued excellence in apparel branding.”
