International Coatings Company is introducing a reformulated version of its Blaze Low Bleed White 7042 ink for screen printing.

The new formula is designed to make the ink easier to print with than other opaque whites. A finer screen mesh can be used to achieve the same opacity as a more open mesh.

This results in less ink being needed, saving money, and also means a softer hand on flashed fabrics.

The reformulated ink is now part of International Coatings’ FlexCure line which means it can be cured at temperatures ranging from 143°C to 160°C.

Its low-cure, low-bleed properties help stem dye migration on cotton/poly blends as well as on most polyester substrates.

Blaze Low Bleed White 7042 prints easily on both manual and automatic print machines, delivering fast-flash, low tack, high performance and a superior hand.

Mark Brouillard, International Coatings’ print product manager, said the ink was “redesigned with our customers’ input and preferences in mind…. With its stellar print and value characteristics, Blaze Low Bleed White 7042 is one of International Coatings’ most requested products.”

International Coatings’ inks are distributed in the UK by Screen Print World.
