Mutoh Europe has introduced its first-ever integrated print-and-cut device, the XpertJet C641SR Pro, measuring only 630mm (24 inches) wide.
It offers precise contour-cut and through-cut functionality and integrates a Mutoh AccuFine 1600 nozzle print head to enhance both print quality and productivity.
The new model can be used on a desktop but is also available with a stand on caster wheels and an automatic roll-up device.
Compact and lightweight, the new print-and-cut device is chiefly designed for businesses starting out or bringing graphics and sticker production in-house. It can be used for creating heat transfers as well as signs, full-colour stickers, vehicle graphics, banners, posters, labels and fine art prints.
It prints at a speed of 6.5 square metres per hour at 600 x 900 dpi and has the same advanced user “comfort” features that are found on the XpertJet SR Pro 54-inch and 64-inch printer models.
It uses Mutoh’s MS31/MS51 inks which are suited for a wide variety of outdoor and indoor graphics and carry Greenguard Gold certification on chemical emissions.
The XpertJet C641SR Pro integrates a drag knife cutting head for precise contour and through cutting. Two adjustable pressure arms allow for various media width ranges. A built-in grit roller ensures accurate media transport and alignment.
It features workflow efficiency and finishing tools such as trim marks, grommets, automated and manual tiling, step and repeat functionality, and accurate multi-page PDF processing.
Mutoh Europe, part of Japanese group Mutoh, showcased the XpertJet C641SR Pro for the first time in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region at The Print Show at the NEC in Birmingham this month.
It will become available later this year through Mutoh’s certified distributors and partners, starting in October in Japan.
