Mimaki has unveiled the TxF330-800, its new direct-to-film (DTF) printer.
TXF330-800 key facts:
• 1.5x production speed of TXF300-75
• 16-cartridge ink system
• Expanded white capacity
• Expanded colour gamut
Developed to support stable, high-quality garment decoration in demanding print environments, the system combines automated maintenance, expanded white ink capacity and advanced production capabilities to streamline workflow.
The new TxF330-800 promises a production speed that is one and a half times the speed of the branb’s previous model, the TxF300-75.
It has an expanded 16-cartridge ink system, with up to eight white ink slots to provide up to four litres of capacity. Mimaki’s UISS (Uninterrupted Ink Supply System) allows users to replace cartridges without stopping production.
Other features include Mimaki Feed Tension Technology (MFT), which the brand says improves film transport without applying additional tension. “This reduces the risk of misalignment during high-speed and long-duration printing and supports stable, precise image quality,” explains UK and Ireland distributor Hybrid Services.
To improve print head maintenance, the printer includes rotary wipers, which also minimise ink splatter while wiping. Also included is MCT2 (Mimaki Circulation Technology), which is said to help to prevent ink blockages, which can slow down production.
The expanded colour gamut now includes sky blue and pale pink inks, resulting in a “more vibrant output, smoother gradients and more accurate colour reproduction – particularly important for applications requiring high colour fidelity, such as workwear and corporate merchandise,” explains Hybrid. “These inks are also Eco Passport-certified and packaged in an environmentally friendly, eco-cartridge.” The TxF330-800 is also compatible with a broader range of films for increased flexibility.
“Performance and productivity were key drivers in developing the TxF330-800,” explains Arjen Evertse, director of sales at Mimaki Europe. “This new printer answers direct market demands for robust, high-speed DTF technology, and it further demonstrates our commitment to customer-focused innovation in this market. It’s the latest in a series of practical yet innovative solutions from Mimaki that help print providers maintain high-quality output during longer, more efficient and more profitable production runs.”
The TxF330-800 will make its UK debut on the Hybrid Services stand at The Print Show in Birmingham at the end of September (a pre-production model was displayed at Fespa 2026, in Barcelona, in May).
The company’s sales director, Andy Gregory says: “The latest TxF model from Mimaki delivers a step up, not just in outright speed, but ease of use, output quality and outright productivity. Launching it on the Hybrid stand at The Print Show gives visitors the opportunity to see first-hand the next generation of DTF technology from Mimaki.”
