Texjet DTG printers by Polyprint Amaya has distributed the Texjet range of printers for more than 10 years. “We have found that they are a robust piece of equipment that provides first class print quality,“ says the company. “It can be left for around 30 days with the power switched off and still work when switched back on. It is easy to maintain and very economical on ink.“ All new printers come with the latest RIP software called Digital Factory Apparel V10.

Hoopmaster and Mighty Hoops According to Amaya, the easy way to frame up garments is to use the Hoopmaster framing system, which makes sure every garment is aligned correctly and at the perfect frame tension, and can hold large jackets with ease.

OKI A3 and A4 white printers Both the OKI A3 PRO8432WT and OKI A4 PRO7411WT printers are used with Forever transfer papers, which are also available from Amaya. “This is an excellent, lower priced alternative to full-colour printing,“ advises the company. “The image is printed on to the transfer paper, which is then heat pressed onto the product.”

Forever transfer paper These transfer papers are suitable for full and single-colour design creation on a wide variety products, and there is no weeding required. This allows decorators to create intricate designs with ease. The most popular transfer paper is the Laser Dark (no cut), for full-colour printing on to dark garments, closely followed by the Forever Flex Soft, which is a single-colour product that comes in metallic, neon and standard colours, and can be printed on a standard laser printer.

Sef Garment films and vinyl Amaya offers a full range of Sef Garment films for all types of materials and processes. The Flexcut X4, which promises fast weeding, is very popular and is suitable for printing onto cotton and polyester. Another popular product is the Maxxflex, which is a high quality, multilayered polyurethane film that is PVC-free and produced without solvents.
