Bregnano’s Mayor, Elena Daddi, presses the button to start the Nassenger SP-1 system, along with Konica Minolta’s Akiyoshi Ohno and Enrico Verga
Konica Minolta has opened a new €5 million textile innovation centre at Bregnano, Como, near Milan. The centre will allow inkjet customers to obtain first-hand experience of three of the brand’s digital systems for textile printing – the Nassenger SP-1, Nassenger 10 and Nassenger 8 – which were formally launched at the ITMA exhibition.
“Initial reaction has been extremely positive to our new innovation centre, which will not only provide demonstrations for our world-class technology, but is also an important training and educational facility in this important and growing textile inkjet printing market,” said Enrico Verga, chief operating officer for Konica Minolta IJ Textile Europe. “We look forward to welcoming printers here from not only in the local area, but also right across Europe and further afield.”
