Promotional textile specialist Kingly was shortlisted for green company of the year in the BizX Awards for companies across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Held as part of last week’s BizX 2023 event for business leaders at ExCeL London, the awards celebrated the achievements of winners and shortlisted companies. Speakers included Lord Coe, Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Mary Portas.
Kingly, which operates across Europe including the UK, was recognised because of its commitment to sustainability and its mission to minimise the negative impact of the garment and textile industry.
Initiatives include its zero-waste sock knitting facility, its upcycled socks, and accreditation to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).
The awards were attended by Kingly founder and CEO Rob Armour who added: “This acknowledgment wouldn’t have been possible without the support and guidance of Chris Churchman from Action Coach who is navigating our company towards business excellence”.
