This intricate logo was embroidered onto workwear by Top Marques Uniforms in Sudbury, Suffolk, for Ipswich Bonsai Society
The artwork was designed by the customer and digitised by Digimart, with a few tweaks done in-house to account for the different fabrics, explained Steve Gates, owner of Top Marques Uniforms.
“The design has nearly 12,000 stitches, seven colours, and takes about 12 minutes to run.”
Top Marques Uniforms embroidered five of Russell Europe’s Men’s Ultimate Cotton Polos (577M) in titanium, as well as four of Pro RTX’s Pro Fleeces (RX402) in charcoal.
The company decorated the garments using its Barudan embroidery machine with Isacord embroidery threads, which were supplied by TC Threads.

“We wanted to make sure the colours in the design stood out against the grey garments, so carefully chose the colours with this in mind,” added Steve.
“The design uses the 15cm frame, which is the perfect size for a left breast design!”
