The D5 Oval Digital Printing Machine took centre stage on the stand of Chinese manufacturer, Shenzhen Homer Textile Tech at ITMA. The digital station, which was positioned over an oval screen printing press, is capable of printing at 1200 x 1200 dpi, with a maximum print size of 500 x 580mm, using CMYK pigment ink. The machine features an automatic cleaning system with non-contact moisturising, and can print onto natural, synthetic, and blended fabrics via Ergosoft or Wasatch RIPs. The 10 industrial print heads are claimed to have a top production speed of between 400 pieces per hour (A4) and 280 pieces per hour (A3).
