Suppliers in the garment decoration sector are coming together for Headwear Live 2023 – the only UK event dedicated to hat heat printing.
Organised by heat transfer specialist Target Transfers, it is aimed at showing the trade everything they need to know to design, decorate and sell branded hats.
Taking place on Wednesday 28 June, it will feature hat and accessory supplier Beechfield Brands, wholesaler Ralawise and digital cutting specialist Graphtec GB. More guests are due to be announced.
Visitors can attend either the morning slot or the afternoon slot. It is being held at Target Transfers’ Heat Printing Innovation Center in Braintree in Essex.
Attendees will learn how to decorate every panel of a hat including over seams and the hat bill. This will include how to add heat-applied patches including embroidered, woven, rubber and embossed patches, along with 3D high-build vinyl and other speciality finishes.
Visitors can get to know different hat types, from snapbacks to truckers to bucket hats, and learn which styles and colourways are trending in the UK market and how to add these to the product offering.
The event will also cover production costs and recommended selling prices so attendees can start, run and grow a successful hat-branding business or revenue stream.
