Stedman’s new Unisex Hooded Sweatshirt offers a cross between a T-shirt and a hoodie, in lightweight, 190 gsm 100% ringspun cotton. The hoodie has a fluffy inner surface to keep the wearer warm, and is designed to be worn year-round, indoors and outdoors. The outside provides an ideal surface for printing and embroidery, and has no kangaroo pouch pocket so the entire front can be decorated. The garment also has no neck label to allow for easy rebranding.

SF says its sweatshirts range is inspired by city street style to keep wearers warm during the winter. The brand recommends the Ladies Slounge Sweat (SK513), which has a wide neckline so it can be worn either on or off the shoulders. The black sweat is made from a 250 gsm, 100% cotton French terry, with a heather grey option available made from 85% cotton/15% viscose. It features ribbed cuffs, hem and neckline with twin needle stitching.

Mantis says its Superstar Sweatshirts range combines comfort with premium details, and shows that “practical clothing doesn’t have to mean a compromise on style”. Both Superstar Sweatshirts in the range are made with a peach-finish fabric with a cosy, brushed inner, and feature V-stitch detailing at the front neck, ribbed side panels, and tear-off labelling. Wearers can choose between the plain Superstar Sweat (M76) and the Striped Sweat (M76S), which features varsity-style bold striped hem and cuffs.

Just Hoods by AWDis offers a range of sweatshirts that are ideal for rebranding. Its crew neck JH040 Heather Sweat in seven colours is lightweight and made with a soft feel fabric, making it ideal for layering. The AWDis Sweat (JH030) and the Baseball Sweat (JH033) are two of the brand’s most popular products. Both are made with a stylish fit – with the Baseball Sweat offering a more retro style – and feature a tear-off label and a soft, cotton-faced fabric. The AWDis Sweat is available in 37 colours, while the Baseball Sweat comes in six contrast options.

Fair Share is the latest capsule collection from Continental Clothing Co. Ltd. The entire range is made from 100% Certified Organic Fairtrade Cotton. A premium is added to the garment, which goes directly to the workers at the factory to help them achieve a living wage. The FS60P is a unisex pullover hood with a kangaroo pocket, and is manufactured from a 280 gsm brushed 3-ply fabric. It is available in sizes – XS – 2XL and three core colours. Continental reports that it may add other styles from its EarthPositive and Salvage ranges under the FS banner.

The Comfort Colors range of sweatshirts is made with 305 gsm 80% ringspun cotton/20% polyester that’s garment-dyed to create a worn-in, weathered look. The Adult Crewneck Sweatshirt (1566) has a more classic look, and is available in 39 shades. For a pullover option there’s the Adult Hooded Sweatshirt (1567), which Comfort Colors says has a more sporty appeal, and is available in 23 colours. Both sweats feature 1×1 rib at the cuffs and waistband, and twin needle stitching for added durability.

Just Cool by AWDis offers activewear that “provides comfort and allows for optimal performance”. The Men’s Cool . Zip Sweat (JC031) and the Girlie Cool . Zip Sweat (JC036) are fitted garments. Both feature a half zip with a stand-up collar for warmth, and are made with a raglan sleeve design for ease of movement. Uneek says its range of garments offers fabric weights that are ideal for embroidery, with plenty of colour options. The Classic Sweatshirt (UC203) is a traditional cut with Lycra ribbed cuffs, welt and neck, and has a brushed effect which Uneek says gives the product superior comfort and appearance. Also from Uneek is the Olympic Sweatshirt (UC205), which is enzyme-washed for an extra soft feel. The top of the range Premium Sweatshirt (UC201) weighs in at 350 gsm, and is washable at temperatures up to 60°C.

New from Stanley & Stella is the Stella Varies Slub sweatshirt. The company says this loose-fitting sweatshirt with 3/4 length sleeves is inspired by a relaxed-chic blouse style. It comes with a longer back length and has a contrasting metal zip to the back of the neck. It is made from 100% organic, ringspun, GOTS-certified cotton, making it soft to touch and comfortable. It is available in French navy and cream heather grey.
