Gildan Activewear has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World Index) for a third year running, effective from September 21, 2015.
According to Gildan, it is the only North American company in the textiles, apparel and luxury goods industry group to be included in the DJSI World Index.

The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices were launched in 1999 as the first global sustainability benchmarks.
