The latest technology from manufacturers including Mimaki, Epson and Resolute is set to be showcased at The Print Show and The Sign Show in September.
From garment printing to wide-format printing, the event from 23 to 25 September at the NEC in Birmingham will feature several UK debuts for equipment across print and signage.
Highlights for garment decorators include a stand bringing together direct-to-film (DTF) and digital textile print specialist Resolute with clothing distributor Ralawise.
Resolute will display its entry-level CraftyJet printer as well as the R-Jet Pro DTF V4i printer for medium-sized operations. Also on show will be the R-Jet Pro DTF UVi and R-Jet Pro DTF UV61.
Resolute has also promised that it will be demonstrating an “all-new solution for larger-scale printers”.
Visitors will see how DTF prints can be used across the Ralawise range of brands which includes Nimbus, Stanley/Stella and B&C.
Martin Lowe, head of marketing at Resolute, said: “Our partnership means that visitors to Stand P510 can access everything they need to take advantage of with one of the hottest technologies in the industry, as well as the latest clothing styles, all in one place.”
Resolute will be running a competition throughout The Print Show to discover “the UK’s fastest DTF operator”. Those interested can fill in a form on the Resolute website and select a time slot to take part at the show.
The winner will receive a weekend for two at a top UK spa hotel and take away the Resolute Auto DTF UK trophy.
With limited places available, early booking is recommended. The challenge will run for 10 minutes and will all take place on the Resolute stand.
Resolute will announce the winner at 2pm on 25 September, the final day of the show. If the winner is not present, Resolute will contact them directly after the event has finished.
Martin added: “Whether you’re looking to elevate your product offering, explore sustainable fashion solutions or simply stay ahead of trends, stand P510 is a must-visit at this year’s show.”
Hybrid Services, the exclusive distributor for Mimaki in the UK and Ireland, is using The Sign Show for the UK and Irish launch of Mimaki’s new compact UV DTF printer, the UJV300DTF-75.
The machine enables the easy creation of premium decals, bespoke branding and personalisation, with the ability to print on film at a resolution of up to 1200dpi, while running in six colours and printing at widths of up to 640mm.
Hybrid Services will also showcase a selection of Mimaki’s latest solvent printers, print-and-cut solutions and flatbed technologies.
Andy Gregory, sales director at Hybrid Services, said: “The Sign Show is a timely and important addition to the exhibition calendar. It gives the signage industry its own dedicated space while still benefiting from the crossover with The Print Show.”
New SureColor products on the Epson stand will include the eco-solvent SC-S9100, the UV large-format SC-V7000, and the SC-V2000 UV flatbed printer.
HP will showcase its new HP Latex R530 all-in-one printer for the first time in the UK at The Sign Show alongside the HP Latex 630W and 830W, the HP DesignJet XL3800 large-format https://www.theprintshow.co.uk/solution and the HP DesignJet Z9+Pro.
