Epson has announced that it is preparing to unveil a new “professional printing solution for apparel decorators” at this week’s Impressions Expo in Los Angeles.
Without providing any further details, the company said it would showcase the new printer as part of its line-up of dye sublimation, direct-to-film (DTF), direct-to-garment (DTG) and UV printers.
The product reveal will take place on Thursday (22 January) on the first day of Impressions Expo Long Beach which runs until 24 January.
The Epson stand will preview “forward-looking technology” and feature the “MakeON Studio”, described as a creative space spotlighting Epson’s portfolio of desktop systems for garment decoration including DTF.
Tim Check, senior product manager for professional imaging at Epson America, said: “The continued growth of DTFilm printing has solidified as an integral part of the apparel decorating workflow, driven by demand for personalisation and on-demand production.
“Apparel decorators require reliable, high-quality solutions and Epson continues to provide these scalable printing solutions, designed to fit into any sized workflow that support business growth at every stage.”
Other systems on the stand will include the SureColor G6070 – badged as SureColour G6000 in the UK – which was Epson’s first dedicated DTF printer, and the SureColor F3070 production DTG printer for high-volume garment decorators.
Also on show will be the SureColor F-Series hybrid DTG and DTF printers, including the SureColor F1070 and SureColor F2270, as well as the SureColor F6470 for production dye sublimation and the SureColor F170 and SureColor F570 for desktop dye sublimation.
