Three new Tajima models
The Tajima TMAR-KC Type-2 multi-head
Tajima has launched three new embroidery machines, reports AJS Embroidery Services: the TMAR-KC Type-2 multi-head, TMBR-SC single-head and TMBP-SC single-head.
The TMAR-KC Type-2 multi-head series promises “exquisite embroidery even on thick fabric and leather” thanks to its digitally-controlled presser foot (DCP), which can also suppress the “fluttering” of embroidery material, allowing for precision stitching. The machine features the FS mode, which can optimally tune the machine and therefore reduce the burden on the yarn as well as improving the stability and quality of the embroidery.
Another new feature is the direct command switches: now all of the main functions of the operation panel can be manipulated from each head for improved work efficiency. The newly-designed Slim Cylinder Bed has widened the range of applications to cover items such as pocket and sleeves, while the Wide Cap Frame offers enhanced embroidery stability. Two-, four-, six- and eight-head machines are available.
Next up is the TMBR-SC series, a next-generation single-head model with DCP. It also has FS mode, Slim Cylinder Bed and a reinforced Wide Cap Frame, with optional multi-cording device. It has a maximum speed of 1,200 rpm and comes with either six, 12 or 15 needles.
Also new from Tajima, the TMBP-SC single-head shares the Slim Cylinder Bed, reinforced Wide Cap Frame, and FS mode, and boasts a streamlined cubical frame design; the company explains that by relocating the frame drive to the upper position it has widened the frame’s operating field.
