DuPont is to unveil new transfer film for direct-to-film (DTF) printing alongside more colours for its DTF pigment ink set.

The new premium DuPont Artistri DTF-120 film is designed to work with both hot peel and cold peel methods and to deliver vibrant colours on garments with a dry touch.

It is being presented by DuPont at print industry show Impressions Expo in Long Beach, California from 23 to 25 January, ahead of being launched internationally “soon”.

The stand will also highlight the addition of gamut-expanding colours to the DuPont Artistri P1600 DTF pigment ink set for textile printing.

Robert Simpson, Americas and EMEA business leader for DuPont Artistri digital inks, said: “Direct-to-film (DTF) printing technology has quickly gained traction for its versatility and quality in textile printing. We are happy to introduce new gamut-expanding inks and announce a film offering that is coming soon to complement our ink portfolio. We are eager to connect with our customers and share more details about it.”
