A team from corporate clothing specialist Dimensions walked across the Northumberland countryside to raise money for an initiative to ensure children have a nutritious breakfast.
They took part in the annual fundraiser for The Greggs Foundation, covering 20 kilometres (12.4 miles) in the Ingram Valley. Overall, the event raised over £18,000.
Dimensions has provided branded T-shirts for all five of the annual walks. The brightly branded T-shirts helped catch the eyes of passers-by, started conversations and helped raise awareness of the foundation’s work.
Set up 25 years ago, The Greggs Foundation operates 1,000 Breakfast Clubs in schools across the UK, serving more than 75,000 children in need each day.
Team Dimensions was represented by senior account manager Kara McElhinney, senior designer Julie Dowman and commercial director Ian McGinty.
Ian said: “Dimensions is honoured to support The Greggs Foundation Breakfast Club Programme, recognising it as a wonderful opportunity to give back to the local community.
“By ensuring that children in need receive a free breakfast every school day, Dimensions helps to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children who might otherwise go without.”
Dimensions is part of Mi Hub, the global workwear company, alongside the group’s other brands, Affinity, Yaffy and Alexandra.
