This all-over design of American wrestler Jey Uso was printed by Culture Studio for WWE. Tyler Barnes pins down the signature moves used to create this superstar design
In the wrestling world, Jey Uso is riding high having beaten legend John Cena in the Royal Rumble earlier this year. This piece of official Jey merch for WWE, sold at live events and online, was printed by Culture Studio.
“We saw the popularity of all-over printing rising early in the re-trend cycle, and took swift action to ensure we’re fully equipped to power brands with the highest quality merch in the game. We refuse to turn big dreams into small prints,” states Tyler Barnes, national creative director of product at the company, which has facilities in Chicago, Illinois, and Daytona Beach, Florida.
“The design was created by WWE and I think it is a fitting representation of Jey: big time moments in big time matches demanding big time merch.”
This print was produced on Culture Studio’s M&R Stryker press which was re-engineered to fit 40” x 40” pallets and frames.
The two-colour design was printed with the blue ink first with no flash followed by the black, on the Iconic T-Shirt from Fruit of the Loom.
Culture Studio has printed around 20,000 shirts using this design over the last six months.
