Mimi’s Embroidery and Print has taken on Chloe Wardle as production assistant.
Amy Clarke, founder of Mimi’s, which is based in Stokesley, North Yorkshire, reports that Chloe is a skilled graphic designer, screen printer and embroiderer. Amy is excited to see the two of them work and grow together.
A customer of Mimi’s, Chloe runs her own small business called Fruit Salad Apparel, offering embroidered and printed garments and accessories that she sells online and at local market stalls.
Calling the hire “one of the biggest business decisions I have made, but very much needed”, Amy added: “She asked if I was open to having her for part-time work and we decided to give it a go!
“She has been an absolute godsend and she couldn’t have come along at a more perfect time in the business’s growth. Chloe has lots of experience working with print and embroidery from previous jobs and in her personal work. She can keep busy running the machines whilst I work in the background catching up on emails and all the other jobs I often don’t have time to do.
“Chloe is excited to further expand her knowledge on embroidery and print and looks forward to meeting lots of other local creatives and small business owners.”
