Online graphic design platform Canva has extended its connectivity with ChatGPT to enable full design creation using AI directly within chats.
Through Canva’s AI connector, users can now generate, edit and preview designs without leaving the conversation. They can simply enter a prompt, and a new Canva design will appear ready to go.
The new functionality follows the earlier launch of Canva’s “deep research connector” which empowers users to search and summarise existing Canva content inside ChatGPT.
The Canva app in ChatGPT features full-screen design previews directly within the main interface. Text can be edited across entire Canva designs just by giving it further prompts.
Available by clicking “source”, the Canva app with full design capabilities is now rolling out to ChatGPT users on Free, Plus and Pro plans outside the EU.
