Brother has announced the launch of the GTX300 Hybrid Garment Printer for both direct-to-garment (DTG) and direct-to-film (DTF) printing. The new printer will be launched in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) on the 1 September, 2026.
Engineered as a “true hybrid solution”, the professional-grade GTX300 allows garment decorators to switch seamlessly between DTG and DTF workflows.
It means they can print onto cotton and natural garments with DTG capabilities while using DTF for customisation on polyester, blends, performance fabrics, oversized graphics and non-traditional print locations.
Brother promises that its new GTX300 Hybrid Garment Printer provides high-resolution output with sharp detail, vibrant colour and durable results across both printing methods, with advanced ink flow technology for smooth gradients and precise detail.
Lawrence Davenport, vice president of the Industrial Products Division at Brother International Corporation, added: “The GTX300 is designed to help decorators say ‘yes’ to more jobs without overhauling their production set-up.
“By combining DTG and DTF into one professional platform, we’re giving print businesses a practical way to expand what they offer, improve operational efficiency and grow with confidence.”
With a printable area of 40.64 centimetres by 53.34 centimetres, the GTX300 uses Brother textile inks that are certified by Oeko-Tex Eco Passport and GOTS 7.0. With two print heads, it is capable of resolution of 1200 dpi by 1200 dpi.
To simplify operation and maintenance, it features a 178mm (seven-inch) touchscreen control panel, automated maintenance with continuous white ink circulation and GTX Graphics Lab software for streamlined DTG and DTF workflows.
Its compact footprint of 1,295 millimetres by 1,670 millimetres by 583 millimetres is intended for fitting comfortably in shops and small production spaces without sacrificing performance.
The GTX300 is supported by the Brother At Your Side commitment including guided installation and onboarding tools, access to training resources and a one-year limited warranty that includes print heads.
Brother’s GTX range of printers, from the GTX600 to the GTX Pro and GTX Pro Bulk, are distributed in the UK through MHM Direct GB.
The new GTX300 is available now in the US but has not been launched yet in Europe.
