The Association of Suppliers to the British Clothing Industry (ASBCI) is bringing together analysts, brands and innovators to discuss the future direction of athleisure and examine the cultural and technological forces fuelling the consumer’s appetite for sports casual apparel.
The conference will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nottingham on 14 November 2018, and will address the current opportunities and future potential of athleisure and look at how the trend’s leading brands and retailers are developing both their product and their customer base.
The speakers confirmed so far include Drapers, Bureau Veritas, Lectra, Freudenberg, Boss Menswear, Lycra and M&S; the conference will be hosted by Dr Julie King, head of fashion for Northampton University and ASBCI event director.
