With more than 30 years’ experience, Amaya says it only offers tried and tested equipment that it is confident will meet its customers’ needs. This year, the company will continue to focus on two key products that launched in 2023 and which it says are “strategic to the future of garment decoration”.
Polyprint TexJet NG Series The TexJet NG series from Polyprint is an industrial and robust solution for both DTG and DTF production from the same machine and with the same ink set.
“Every garment decoration business has a need for both application methods to be able to offer their customers the very best quality, price, and flexibility.” Amaya recommends testing this hybrid solution rather than looking at two different systems.
Coloreel Coloreel’s groundbreaking technology creates any Pantone-matched colour thread on demand, offering decorators more efficient and faster production, explains Amaya, with no limitations on what can be achieved, as well as being a sustainable solution.
“When you couple the Coloreel system with the Melco modular embroidery system, you have the perfect combination for embroidery on demand,” comments the company.
Kornit Digital The Kornit Digital range of high-production industrial DTG systems with built-in pretreatment offers speed, low cost per print and now, with the latest Max technology, “exceptional print quality not available from any other DTG equipment on the market”.
The Apollo, launched in June 2023, offers an end-to-end production unit and can produce up to 400 shirts per hour with one operator by automating the loading, unloading, and curing processes.
Oki, Uninet and Forever With printers from Oki and Uninet and transfer papers from Forever, Amaya offers A4 and A3 transfer printing solutions that are great for a low-investment start-up or as an add-on to your existing personalisation business.
“Let our experts demonstrate the range of products you can print onto including textiles, wood, metal, glass, slate, plastic, and much more,” suggests the company.
Melco Coming back to embroidery, one of the most popular products that Amaya offers is the Melco EMT16X embroidery machine. “This is not just another embroidery machine; it is a modular, scalable, and flexible system that can grow with your business and adapt to your needs.” Unlike traditional fixed-head machines, the Melco EMT16X allows decorators to network multiple machines together and operate them independently or simultaneously.
Its patented Acti-Feed thread control system automatically adjusts the thread tension and feed rate according to the fabric type, which takes the skill out of embroidery, eliminates manual adjustments, reduces thread breaks, and ensures consistent stitch quality across all machines.
“Whether you are an existing embroider, or thinking about adding embroidery, you really should see the EMT16X in action before making a purchasing decision.”
New to Melco is the Fusion software that allows decorators to offer embroidery-on-demand direct from their website.
Sef Garment Film and Vinyl Amaya stocks a wide range of Sef garment film and flocks for both cutting and print-and-cut machines. “There’s a product available for all fabric and application types, so speak with one of our advisors for the best product for your job,” adds the company.
